Communicating with Devices on a Serial Link 9-7
Step 3: Configure the communication driver
Use RSLinx software to configure the serial communication driver. Select the
“DF1” driver.
2. Specify a name for the driver
1. In RSLinx software, select Communication → Configure Driver. From the Available Driver Types list, select”RS-232 DF1 Devices“.
3. Specify the appropriate communication settings.
Click OK.
Click Add New.
Click OK.
