Checking for new versions with every visit to a page

To set up Internet Explorer to check for new versions of stored pages with every visit:

1. In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

2. In Internet Explorer 6.0, click Settings in the General tab, under Temporary

Internet files.

In Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher, click Settings in the General tab, under

Browsing history.

3. Under Check for newer versions of stored pages:

 In Internet Explorer 6.0, click Every visit to page.

 In Internet Explorer 7.0 or higher, click Every time I visit the webpage.

Working online

To ensure that Internet Explorer is working online, select the File or Tools menu

(depending on your version of Internet Explorer). If there is a check mark beside

Work Offline, clear the check mark by clicking Work Offline.
