Remote I/O is the fourth of the four Discrete I/O devices. You can select it
as shown in Figure 9.12.

When the Remote I/O format first appears on the monitor screen, the 16
rows in the editor panel pertain to the first 16 of 248 composite addresses for
an Allen–Bradley PLC (programmable logic controller).
The PLC addresses appear under the In/Out heading in the Remote I/O
editor panel, and they have the following basic format:
O:030/10
Bit Number
Group (word) number
PLC Rack Address
O = Output from PLC; I = Input to PLC
